Cuba: Havana – El Templete
Catedral de San Cristobal is the most famous cathedral in Cuba, founded in 1748 by the Jesuits and finished in 1777 by the Franciscans. It is often considered to be the symbol of Havana. The beautiful baroque building has two towers and the ornate main facade. Inside it is also very decorated with several altars. But the best part is going up in the bell tower and likely having it all to yourself, you can climb several levels all the way up to the roof for insane views of the plaza in front of the cathedral, the old historic bells, and the roof of the cathedral itself.
