Cuba: Havana – Malecon
Malecon is an 8km long seawall and esplanade along the coast where the city of Havana fronts the sea. It’s where all Cubans of all ages come out in the evening to walk, watch the sunset, mix their own cuba libre, and spontaneously dance and sing. Many buildings along the Malecon and crumbling under the destructive elements of salt water, other are being restarted into boutique hotels and restaurants. It’s an awesome place to explore and people watch as the darkness falls over the city.
