Cuba: Havana – Parque Central & Paseo del Prado
Parque Cenral located in the heart of the Havana Centro district is chockfull of attractions. The oldest hotel in Havana, Hotel Inglaterra, is here with spectacular rooftop views. Next to it is the jewel of the Gran Teatro de Havana (under restoration). Another hotel facing the parque is Hotel Parque Central, another spectacular sunset rooftop place. Paseo del Prado starts here and goes toward Malecon, it is the most beautiful avenue in Havana, shaded with trees and guarded by lion statues. Along the Paseo del Prado is Hotel Sevilla, famous for having been the American mafia hangout.
