Cuba: Havana – Plaza de la Catedral
There are four main squares in Havana Vieja (old city), and Plaza de la Catedral is arguably the most important, hosting the Havana Cathedral, a definitive symbol of the city, dating back to 1727. Built entirely out of coral it has two unequal bell towers and is one of the best examples of Baroque architecture in the city. The plaza has many palaces facing it, mostly hotels and restaurants these days.
