Czech Republic: Brno
The capital of Moravia and the second largest city in the Czech Republic, Brno’s historic center is relatively compact and can be easily explored. The tower of the old townhall in the heart of the town is climbable and offers a spectacular panorama and introduction to the city – the Znojmo Castle in one direction, Peter & Paul Cathedral in the other. There are also two beautiful squares in Brno and each has a baroque plague tower.
