Denmark: Copenhagen – Torvehallerne Market
Torvehallerne, often called TorvehallerneKBH, is a modern glass-enclosed food market located in the heart of Copenhagen’s old town. It’s more then a farmer’s market – rather it’s a place to sample authentic Danish street food like smorrebrods (open face sandwiches) and freshly-shucked local oysters, while surrounded by mostly Danish grown and produced fruits, vegetables, cheeses, charcuterie, and other food items. Also on tap are crisp Danish beers and ciders.
