Dominican Republic: Cabo Frances Viejo
Cabo Frances Viejo National Natural Monument lies on the north coast. It’s a small area protecting a headland with sheer cliffs jutting out into the sea. There are three historic lighthouses here, although with difficult access and a spectacular Playa El Breton Beach requiring a steep descent. No hotel or resort development nearby, just pure nature.
