Egypt: Egyptian Food Recap
In many ways, Egyptian food follows the standard middle eastern mainstays of various hummus dips, grilled eggplant, stuffed grape leaves, and roasted meats. But there were very interesting exceptions – like stuffed and roasted pigeons, kochery (a vegi mix), and sausage stews (more description with pictures). And of course the thick Arabic coffee to keep you awake for days.
