El Salvador: La Libertad Beach (Revisited)
Another surfing mecca in El Salvador is La Libertad town and the beach in front of it. The waves coming parallel to the shoreline making for great rides. The black sand beach and the crescent of the bay are quite pretty but the town itself is drab and dilapidated, perhaps planned as a tourist spot in the past, but since all slowly disintegrating with a rusting Ferris wheel towering above it.
