England: Norfolk North Coast

Norfolk north coast is as rural England as it gets – small fishing villages with names like Cley-next-the-Sea and Wells-next-the-Sea and Holmey-next-the-Sea – however due to silting, the actually sea is usually a mile away from these formerly seafront places. Many old windmills are scatter along the coast. Fishing boats are loaded with freshly caught crab – Norfolk specialty. Old stone houses and estates the entire coastline. And where the beach is accessible – it’s very broad and shallow. And it’s cold and windy – but this is England!
