Estonia: Tallinn – Climbing Tallinn’s Cathedrals and Towers
With so many cathedrals and towers in the city, one can embark on tower-climbing adventure for unparalleled rooftop views. The highest cathedral, St. Olaf’s Church has a 159m high tower (nearly 500 feet) which you go up the twisting spiral staircase with massive stairs, no elevator. Another fantastic observation point is climbing the tower in the central square. Finally, the top of one of the city wall towers near the High Town offers incredible views down into the old town sprawling below. Head still spinning from all the spiral staircase action.
