Estonia: Kaali Meteor Craters on Saaremaa
A massive 80 ton meteor slammed into the Saaremaa island about 4,000 years ago causing an explosion and a 22 meter deep/110 meters in diameter crater. Actually the meteor broke up into 9 pieces in the air and there are 8 smaller craters further around. The explosion incinerated everything in the 6 km radius. This is equivalent to the Hiroshima bomb blast. And it’s a rather small meteor as far as meteors go.
