Finland: Lapland – Hike to Treriksröset
Treriksröset means “Three-country Cairn”, this is the tripoint where Sweden, Finland, and Norway borders meet. The place is in the middle of nowhere in the northern Lapland, far away from any villages. It takes a half-day hike to get here through spectacular tundra with fresh snow on top of the hills, red berries on the ground, and reindeer passing by. Beautiful nature all around!
