France: Crozon Peninsula

Brittany is all about the stunning coastal landscapes and one place you should not miss is the Crozon Peninsula. It’s a stunning coastal area jutting into the Atlantic Ocean and forming part of the Parc Naturel Regional d’Armorique. Known for its rugged cliffs, sandy beaches, and dramatic landscapes, it begs to be explored! The waters around the peninsula are part of the Parc Naturel Marin d’Iroise, France’s first marine park. So much to see here, like the windswept Pointe de Pen Hir at the southernmost point of the peninsula, offering rugged cliffs and precipitous cliffs with vistas of seastacks offshore. Also here is the Aux Bretons Monument. Not far is the Atlantic Battle Memorial Museum with plenty of WWII fortifications, ship anchors and more views. Further up is Pointe du Toulinguet with a fortress and stunning beaches.
