France: Lyon – Mural & Fresco Houses
Lyon has a very unique and interesting attraction – there are several houses that are painted all over with very elaborate murals (essentially graffiti) that draw massive crowds. The two most famous ones is the Fresque des Lyonnais Celebres (Famous Faces of Lyon Fresco), a narrow building depicting various famous people from Lyon from Roman times to present. Another one is the La Bibliotheque de la Cite (City Library) just several blocks down and equally detailed and spectacular.
