France: Montreuil-Bellay Chateau
Another spectacular medieval chateau with a multitude of conical towers, a moat, fortified ramparts, but also a winery and a wine cellar on site. The castle was built originally in 11th century, the then went through several sieges and often partial destruction during the medieval wars. The walls run 600 meters and there are 14 towers. The castle overlooks the town with the same name laid out on the plane below.
