France: Toulouse
One of the largest cities in France, Toulouse is known as the “pink city” for the majority of its building having red and pink hues. Despite being huge and industrial, Toulouse is laid back, with a lot of green areas, coffee culture, and al fresco dining everywhere. 11th century Basilique Saint-Sernin is an absolute must-see with giant columns and domes interior. Other attractions include the main square of Place du Capitole with Hotel de Ville on it, Cathedral of Saint-Etienne, Les Jacobins, Canal du Midi, and many other places like bridges, cobblestone streets, beautiful decorated buildings, and dozens of museum.
