France: Trinity Abbey in Vendome
The town of Vendome has a 11th century Benedictine Trinity Abbey. Consecrated in 1040 under the direct order from the Pope, it was under the papal jurisdiction which was accepted by the log of France. The Abbey is very ornate from the outside, but inside is very austere white stone with very little decorations, just the rays of light playing from the windows.
