Georgia: Motsameta Monastery in Kutaisi

Motsameta Monastery  is a small monastery outside of the town of Kutaisi but in an absolutely spectacular setting on top of a cliff above a bend of the Tskhaltsitela River and surrounded by pomegranate trees. the monastery dates back to the 8th century.
