Gerogia: Upper Svaneti – Ushguli Village
Ushguli was the absolute best experience in Georgia. A tiny village lost in time and location high up in the difficult to get to Caucasus muntains. Just the road here is an adventure. The village has a feeling as if the time stopped centuries ago – the medieval towers stand in ruins, the snowy mountain stand on horizon, and people go about their daily life as they did 100 years ago. The region is deep in medieval history and many villages still preserve the old ways of life.
