Berlin is the capital of Germany and with the population of over 3mm is the 7th largest city in the European Union. Throughout history, Berlin was the capita of Prussia, the German Empire, the Weimar Republic, and the Third Reich. Divided after WW2, Berlin was once again re-united in 1989 when the Berlin Wall fell.
