Freiburg is the city in the very south of Germany, less than an hour from Switzerland and minutes from France. With over a thousand years of history, it’s a beautiful medieval town dominated by Freiburg Munster (Cathedral) and a grand boulevard crossing the heart of town. The mountain right above the town supplies it with fresh water and ancient canals and fountains are all around the town. Among other notable attractions are Kaufhaus (Merchants Hall), Martinstor (City Gate Tower), City Hall, and much more.
