Gotland: Langhammars Seastacks
And the number one attraction and the reason to get to the Faro Island on Gotland Archipelago is, in my opinion, the coastline at Langhammars dotted with many “rauks” aka seastacks. These are limestone column-like monoliths, some on the shore and some in the water, as if an alien army turn to stone by some magic spell. Some are humongous, over 10m/30 ft tall, surrounded by a stunning pebble beach and desolate coastline and landscapes – truly a wonder of nature!
