Greece/Chios: Exploring the Chios Island
Chios is a very beautiful island, scarcely populated with spectacular mountain vistas, incredible beaches with crescents of yellow sand and clear water, pine forests and mastic covering rolling slopes. Some of the best beaches are Vroulidia Beach, Maura Bolia Beach, Elinta Beach, Trachili Beach and many others. The views from the center island toward Chios Town are awesome and panoramic and you can see the Turkish coast just across the strait.
