Greenland: Icebergs in fifty shades of gray
It was literally fifty shades of gray – boat tour among the icebergs under overcast skies – flat light made everything look grey and pale blue, but the experience of pushing icebergs with the boat and navigating among massive blocks of ice was fun nonetheless. Completely still water made it possible to see the depth of the icebergs, 90% of their body mass submerged.
