Market Square in the heart of St George’s is a bustling market where tons of stuff – mostly spices – are sold. Grenada is know as the Spice Island and is world famous for its nutmeg and cocoa. You can see nutmeg being sold here in all possible forms – fresh nuts, dried nuts, powder. Plus a huge variety of other spices – peppercorn, ginger, cloves, and so on. Also plenty of arts and crafts and local foods.
