Guatemala: Antigua – Mirador de la Cruz
For the bird’s eye view of the town of Antgia, head to the Mirador de la Cruz high above the town. The view is stupendous – on a clear day volcanoes surround the city lying in a compact bowl below (we didn’t get so lucky with the clouds however). The site is a bit under construction but one can still get to the very edge for panoramic views of the colonial building and the grid layout of the former Spanish capital in the Central America.
