Iceland: Myvatn Nature Baths
Less famous then the iconic Blue Lagoon, Myvatn Nature Baths are equally spectacular with their milky-blue mineral waters and the surrounding volcanic scenery and the overall hot springs experience. The Myvatn Nature Baths are centered around a large blue lagoon, which has a temperature of about 36-40 degrees Celsius (97-104 Fahrenheit). The water is packed with minerals, and in particular sulfur). Several smaller pools have even hotter water, and there are also waterfalls to soak under. Nothing beats this after a long day of hiking. The views from here are even better then the Blue Lagoon – you get to see the iconic lake Myvatn. And the crowds are non-existent!
