Iceland: Snaefelsness Peninsula – Elborg Crater & Moss Lava

Snæfellsnes Peninsula is a long finger of land sticking out of the western Iceland. Near the entrance to the Peninsula lies Elborg Crater surrounded by lava flows covered in lush and thick moss. It’s truly an otherworldly, albeit rather cold experience hiking here.
