India: Kanha NP – Birds
Even more birds at Kanha National Park – spectacular displays by seemingly omnipresent peacocks, almost fluorescent Indian rollers, and two separate species of kingfishers, as well as colorful green and yellow beeeaters. Also there were greater egrets, little egrets, and intermediate egrets – what a dreadful name for somebody to be called “intermediate”, just screams mediocrity. Unless you are a ballistic missile….
