India: Kolkata – Mother Theresa House
Missionaries of Charity (or more commonly known as Mother Theresa House) is the place where Mother Theresa lived and worked most of her life organizing the care for poor, refuges, homeless, and sick. The Missionaries of Charity still continues this work. The house is on a busy street and is simple inside and out. Her grave and tombstone are in the big hall and a museum is next. A little further the room she lived in. Just outside, there are dozens of souvenir shops specializing in mother Theresa souvenirs.
