Indonesia: Java – Jatiluwih Rice Terraces

Some of the most beautiful and photographed rice terraces in the world are at Jatiluwih in Bali. The hilly landscape of green lines goes as far as the eye can see. You can also observe peasants preparing the soil for planting rice with water buffaloes pulling plows. The terraces are a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
