Iran: Agha Bozorg Madrasa & Tabatabaei House in Kashan
Masjed-e Agha Borzog is an inactive 19-th century mosque and madrasa comprising a large yard with a domed building with minarets and wind towers. The blue tilework is spectacular, as is the architecture. Also nearby are several old historical merchant houses from the 19th century, such as Tabatabaei House, with decorated courtyards, fountains, and other examples of traditional Persian architecture and art.
