Iran: Former US Embassy in Tehran
The US Embassy in Tehran in the heart of the city served its purpose until 1979 revolution when it was violently seized during the Iranian Revolution. The embassy compound takes the whole city block and the walls outside are covered with anti-US graffiti as the embassy is referred to as “the den of espionage”. Interestingly, several Iranians passers-by stop to mentioned that those graffiti images represent the revolution days and are not reflective of how Iranians feel about America today.
