Iran: Nasir al-Mulk Mosque in Shiraz

This was one of the most incredible places I saw in Iran. The Nasir-ol-Molk Mosque is also known as Pink Mosque for the extensive colored glasswork inside. Most of the windows face the sun and the rays penetrate through all these pink and red and yellow glass tiles and onto the prayer floor in millions of colors and reflections. Its just amazing to just stand in the middle of this and observe it all. The mosque was built in 1876.
