Iraq: Baghdad – Driving Around Baghdad
Most of the rest of Baghdad we explored from car (except the Green Zone which was inaccessible). To be honest – not the most impressive sightseeing – the city is a mess of dust and trash, with a lot of traffic and people, architecture is decrepit and crumbling. And military and blockposts are everywhere (usually without any reason or purpose), making photography difficult or impossible. Also some pics from the rooftop of our hotel at sunset.
