Iraq: Baghdad – Tigris River
Tigris River dissects Baghdad almost into two equal parts, flowing in the city center along the old Rusafa district. Baghdad was built entirely within the Tigris flood plain and the flooding was quite a common theme in the past. This is one of the most picturesque views in Baghdad, and what better way to enjoy this then by taking a boat ride across the Tigris!
