Castlecove Beach is a stunning hidden gem on the southern edge of the Iveragh Peninsula along the famous Ring of Kerry drive. Situated right near the small village of Castlecove, this beach is spectacular, with its pristine white sands, sheltered waters, and breathtaking views looking out across the mouth of Kenmare Bay toward the rugged Beara Peninsula. The ridge and the road run above the beach, offering panoramic views with black rocks, colorful blooming wildflowers, and some coastal sea birds.
