Ireland: Kenmare
Kenmare is a picturesque town located at the head of Kenmare Bay along the Ring of Kerry scenic route. The town goes back to 1670, although there was a settlement here from Neolithic times. It’s really a triangle of streets with colorful houses and traditional shopfronts and a pretty church. Kenmare is sometimes called “the culinary capital of Ireland” for its many fine restaurants and pubs, all featuring locally sourced stuff.
