Ireland: Staigue Fort
Staigue Stone Fort is a ruined circular fort that was built around 400AD, late Iron Age. It is one of Ireland’s largest, oldest, and most architecturally impressive ancient ringforts. The walls are 5.5 m (18 ft) high and 4 m (13 ft) thick.
