Ireland: Valentia Island – Geokaun Mountain

Valentia Island, is one of Ireland’s most westerly points. It had plenty of rugged Atlantic coastlines and dramatic landscapes. Geokaun Mountain is the highest point of Valentia and an absolute highlight. The summit of Geokaun mountain is privately owned. From the top – it’s a 360 degree panorama of of the Dingle Bay, and the Kerry Mountains. On the northern side of Geokaun Mountain lie impressive Fogher Cliffs, 600 fee high. The view from the top is fantastic, but make sure you are heavy enough to hold the insanely strong gusts on the top. Natalie was almost blown away as a piece of paper.
