Irkutsk Oblast: Cape Khoboy on Olkhon Island
Cape Khoboy is the northernmost point of Olkhon Island, here the coastal cliffs achieve the highest point above Baikal water beneath. This is also the widest part of the lake Baikal itself so you are facing a wide open ocean-like panorama. Khoboy means fang in buryat language as the cliffs here look like teeth edges.
