Israel: Jerusalem – Markets of Old Jerusalem

The walled city of Jerusalem has loads of historic attractions and holy sites, but it’s also a never ending tourist trap of markets, not so much in the Jewish and Armenian quarters, but insanely so in the Christian and particularly Muslim quarters. From religious items (candles, burning sticks, crosses, beads) to tourist trinkets (hats, T-shirt’s, souvenirs plates and pins), to food items and freshly squeeze pomegranate juice – it’s a happening and bustling market pretty much on every corner and over passageway.
