Italy: Cividale del Friuli
Cividale del Friuli was founded by Julius Caesar in 50 BC as Forum Iulii (hence the name Friuli), it later became the first capital of the Lombard Duchy in 568 AD. The town is a UNESCO World Heritage Site for its its Lombard monuments, like the Tempietto Longobardo from 8th century. Narrow cobblestone streets, fortified walls, beautiful stone bridges, and open squares full of cafes while enjoying the many architectural gems around you.
