Italy: Florence – Exploring Florence
Of course there’s more to Florence then the Duomo or Michelangelo’s David (previous posts). The city is full of incredible historic landmarks. Piazza della Signoria with the amazing Pallazo Vecchio and its tower, outdoor sculptures at Loggia dei Lanzi, Piazza San Lorenzo, an incredible white marble church of Santa Croce, Palazzo Bargello, and much more. Just roaming the streets of Florence is a delight, especially if you make it to the river and the stunning Ponte Vecchio (next post).
