Italy: Teatro Olimpico in Vicenza
Teatro Olimico is the oldest enclosed theater in the world and was built in 1580-85 by Andrea Palladio and is considered to be his definitive masterpiece. The stage is designed to look like city streets, while the viewing area is richly decorated with statues and paintings. It was truly incredible and pictures don’t express correctly the atmosphere.
