Italy: Dolomite Alps – skiing Val di Fassa
Val di Fassa is another ski area in the Dolomite Alps, probably the most spectacular of all! It’s a rather small valley surrounded by the “teeth” of the Dolomite peaks. Famous Italian ski superstar Alberto Tomba trained here, and the black diamond long run is named after him.
