Kamchatka (Russia): Vilyuchinskiy Volcano

The extinct Vilyuchinskiy Volcano is one of the most picturesque of more then 300 volcanoes in Kamchatka. The volcano is an absolutely perfect cone rising to 2175 m / 7136 ft above the surrounding green valleys. Snow partially covers its flanks and wildflowers carpet the ground at many of the overlooks.
