Kiritimati: Long Beach
Kiribati has an absolutely stunning beach – Long Beach – on the far end of the other side of the island, well past the settlement of Poland. Here, the beach is exposed to the open sea and pounding waves and a spectacular underwater reef lies just offshore. The sand is ultra white and the beach would easily beat lots of famous Polynesian and Caribbean beaches in the head to head contest. Except nobody knows of or has ever visited Kiritimati.
