Krasnodar Krai: Sochi – Krasnaya Polyana

Krasnaya Polyana is where all the downhill skiing happened during the Sochi Winter 2014 Olympics. About 30km up the mountains from the coast of the Black Sea, you get deep into the high gorges of the Caucasus mountains with long lifts and gondolas taking you even higher for panoramic views in the summer.
